Biopolitics in Art and Ecology - expert talk with Felipe Castelblanco and Mateo Fernández Lucero

As part of the exhibition Counter Expeditions, the Haus für Medienkunst invites you to a discussion and dialogue with Colombian artist Felipe Castelblanco and botanist Mateo Fernández Lucero from the University of Oldenburg, who is also from Colombia. The event will focus on questions of biopolitics and nature conservation in the context of art, knowledge, and ecological transformation processes. Based on Castelblanco's “Counter Expeditions,” the two speakers will discuss alternative approaches to research and encounter and invite the audience to join in the exchange. Artist Felipe Castelblanco will participate via video conference.
