Pflanzen: Abstraktion und Bausatz

The course of the same name of the Integrated Design course of the Bremen University of the Arts, summer semester 2009, led by Helene von Oldenburg (representing Prof. Alexander Sahoo) presents its working methods and results. The course participants show their semester works, encourage drawing games and offer with the "plant construction kit" a method for the construction of an "ideal" plant. The development process from detailed plant studies to abstraction to new patterns, forms and ideas becomes comprehensible.
