On the occasion of the book launch of Jens Brand's catalog "BOOK" published by the Edith Russ Haus für Medienkunst at the renowned Kehrer Verlag, the piece Mini Fan Musik by Waldo Riedl and Jens Brand from 1992 will be performed - after a long silence and for the first time in this millennium and in Northern Germany.
The performance begins at 6 p.m. and involves several stringed instruments and pocket fans and extends over three hours. Mini Fan Musik is as much an installation as it is a concert; it takes place without a specially designed stage and thus allows the entire space to become a mobile concert hall. The structure of the work allows accordingly to leave earlier, to come back later or even later again.
The book presentation will take place at 7 pm in the seminar room of the Edith Russ House for Media Art.
