On October 5, 2007, Kristin Lucas became the most current version of herself when she was granted a name change from Kristin Sue Lucas to Kristin Sue Lucas in a California court. She justified her request by saying she wanted to "refresh" herself. In her presentation, Lucas talks about what strategies she uses to understand what the implications, limitations and benefits are of being the newest version of oneself. To do this, she talked with legal experts, philosophers, media theorists, epistemologists, geneticists, twins, double agents, reincarnates, reincarnation confessors, and more.
